ABOUT CHRISTOPHER JAMES

Christopher grew up in a musical environment of all genres. At an early age he was introduced to piano and later on, guitar, which became his passion and lead to many years of performance. His years at University would shape his influences and inspirations as he showcased at many organized jam sessions and song writer circles. It was clear to see his talent take shape with the sounds of Simon and Garfunkel, Kris Kristofferson, Stan Rogers, Willie Nelson, Crash Test Dummies, Neil Diamond, Headstones, James Taylor.... and so many more. The early 90’s proved to be very formative as he teamed up with other musicians to show-case ‘Gear’s Optional’, playing around Prince Edward Island and the Maritime Provinces. After a brief hiatus he returned to his passion and roots; music. Some of his fondest moments and highlights were when he had the privilege to share the stage with Paul MacAusland of Haywire to open for Burton Cummings in Charlottetown, PE. Recently he has teamed up with Singer/Songwriter Lucy Blu from British Columbia to form a ‘Dynamic Duo’ sure to please any audience.
